Markets Soar. Democrats Snore.

For months, Donald Trump has taken credit whenever financial markets rise.

He knows it’s a leading indicator of economic growth, it makes people feel the country is on the right track, and it builds financial security for the 60% of the country invested in the markets.

Democrats, on the other hand, seem to incapable of taking credit for the country’s continued recovery from Trump’s recession. It’s not clear why. But this can’t be a winning strategy.

There’s reason to fear for Democrats’ chances. They’re not driving or making the news.

Maybe they should spend ore time dancing at political rallies, or making mean and stupid comments. Being demented seems to reap political rewards for Donald Trump.

Instead, of whining about the lying, mean spirited Republicans, maybe they should take credit for their successes. Trump and Republicans are bragging about the economy and local government investments.

Right-wing lies about government help in North Carolina aren’t an accident; if Trump can make the people in need of aid believe that has FEMA failed them, or wants to take control of their states, or that Dems control the weather, hey take the state and the election.

Kamala and all Democrats have to speak loudly and clearly about where they want to take the country.  And stop fucking pleading.  Strength, not whining, wins elections.

Democrats should be taking credit for the smashing success of the stock market. Stop whining about Trump and start bragging about themselves. The markets tell us that the Biden-Harris economic policy is working and that the future is bright.

Make sure the country knows it.
