Which Party is Better for Business

Very often, American politics splits on the question of "Who will be best for business?"  Or more pointedly, "Which party is pro-business?  Which party is pro-government?"  The choice shouldn't be binary.  Our country, our economy, our culture, require a vibrant government, innovation, regulations, an unregulated market is dangerous.  The free markets don't cover everything.  The implication is that Republicans are the pro-business party, and that this is inThough the economy has generally done as well under Democrats as it has under Republicans, though If the American media covered business the way it covers politics, there'd be CEO's hanging from every lamppost on Wall Street.
