What's The Point?

It’s easy to laugh at Trump.  And fun.

But leave that to the folks on Facebook and Twitter. Our elected leaders should be above the fray.  Or at least funny.

Snarky social media posts don’t accomplish anything.  Taunt Trump.  Make a fool of him.  Elicit an overreaction from him.  But don’t demean yourself.  And for God’s sake show some wit.

If you must post, try provoking Republicans into saying something stupid.  It isn’t that hard.

Amusing people of like mind doesn’t help you or America.  Leave that to the professionals on late-night and our allies on X.

Your job is to legislate and lead.  Our democracy - and your dignity -  is too precious to squander on bad memes.
