A Modest Proposal

Jennifer Rubin of the Washington Post suggested:

“Trump wants to become a dictator (Biden’s website should provide links to Trump comments and items in the 2025 plan so voters can check for themselves)…”

It’s a damn good idea. Democrats should take it even further by providing an easily accessible source to reference Republican and right-wing media lies, misdeeds, and myths that the media - sometimes even so-called friendly media - repeats and amplifies.

The site should provide historical perspective on pressing issues of the day, including:

*Simple explanations of how dictatorships emerge.

*Rebuttals of the media's sensationalistic coverage of "soaring interest and mortgage rates."

* The need to defend freedom and democracy around the world.

It’s not that hard. All the major news outlets regularly fact check politicians. Copy their work - and credit them.
