Use Republican Words Against Them

Since 2016, many leading Republicans have publicly blasted Donald Trump’s character, policies, and emotional stability.

JD Vance, Nikki Haley, and Lindsey Graham are among those who’ve unequivocally said Trump was not merely unfit to be president but actually posed a threat to the country.

Why haven’t Democrats used their words of condemnation against Trump?

Democrats don’t have to add anything.  They can run the clips of Republicans on social media virtually for free.  They don’t even have to say when Republicans made these statements.

But if they want, a narrator could ask if Republicans were lying when they made these statements, or if they’re lying now.

Democrats should also run an ad featuring Generals who served in the Trump administration but now soundly reject him.

Under normal circumstances, the military is scrupulously nonpartisan.  These are not normal times.  The Generals are already on the record as opposing his re-election.  But only the politically educated know that.

Duty to country demands that they save us from the existential danger that Trump poses to America’s future.  The Generals must make their concerns known to the general public.
